Burristurm/Kulturm, Solothurn
The old walls of the Buris Tower, built in 1543, have been the scene of art and culture since the 1970s. At first, the tower served purely as a stage venue and as a springboard for debut performances. But soon the project, which at that time still ran under the name "Kleintheater Muttiturm", grew into a popular cabaret stage. Today, the Buristurm is known under the name Kulturm and forms an important part of the Solothurn cultural scene on four spatially flexible levels with different types of events.
