The former bunker is located in the eastern area of the airfield next to the old boiler house. The concrete bunker, which was handed over to the Luftwaffe's E -stelle in April 1943 as a "test house", was built by men of the Reich Labor Service and Soviet prisoners of war. The "test house" is a four-storey high bunker built above and below ground, which was supposed to give the documentation staff and many specialists with their equipment safe protection against enemy air attacks.
