Slow Path Through the Valley of the Meierbolbeek

Hi Dirk, we include the part in the Slow Road Plan for Zwalm, but it will always remain a muddy passage, the land is low there and in a run-off zone of the Meierbolbeek, which is why it has remained forest and not become a meadow or field ... Later we can see if a deck path is necessary, but that is an expensive solution. Now, today (winter 2021) with the higher number of hikers and the rain, all slow roads are muddy ... Just a short walk through the wet valley of the Zwalm. Please note that it can be quite swampy here all year round. Adapted or waterproof footwear is recommended.
Enjoy this piece of greenery in the predominantly agricultural area.
