The Schorrenfels is a protected natural monument, the name of which comes from the Middle High German "schorre" = rugged. From the vertically rising rock towers made of sponge limestone, you have a wonderful view of the Ermstal and the opposite cliff.

Nice view of the Seeburg valley, Bad Urach, Georgisiedlung. A narrow path leads down to the foot of the rock, not without danger.
