Hiking Highlight (Segment)
This trail also has it all: gravel and rock alternate and demand your concentration. The path is varied and sometimes quite steep. At the same time it offers beautiful views down to the Frillensee, the village of Anger and over to the Stoißer Alm on the Teisenberg.
In this section you should bring sure-footedness and a good head for heights. Some places are wire rope insured, in between you have artificial stone steps as a climbing aid.
In the lower area, the path runs through the forest. If you go up this section and have enough energy, you can carry a log of wood for the Staufenhaus to the summit.

The second part of the tour is beautifully landscaped, the view outstanding. Rocky terrain, also accessible without climbing experience. Surefootedness and a head for heights necessary. One of the jackdaws even landed on my outstretched arm and pecked at my granola bar. An unforgettable tour.
