The Frillensee, a glacial lake, is considered to be the coldest lake in Germany and is located in the middle of a nature reserve. Therefore it can only be reached on foot or by bike. A circular hiking trail leads around the lake past the north bank, which is followed by an upland moor, and is surrounded by diverse flora. Even if swimming is not allowed, the lake offers a multitude of possibilities to enjoy nature.

Beautiful circular hiking trail through woods and fields, next to a rushing river and over a small wooden bridge. A slight incline takes you to the Frillensee, which you can also walk around separately, or you can take the shortcut over a wooden walkway along the lake.
