The square church tower in the west and the western part of the nave of the aisle church were built from rubble stones in the 15th century. In 1755 the nave was extended and the choir, closed on three sides, was added with corner stones. The church was redesigned in baroque style. The walls of the segment-arched windows are made of sandstone. A pointed slate-covered helmet sits on the tower.

The interior of the nave is spanned with a wooden segment-arched barrel vault. An arched passage leads from the nave to the hall of the tower. The wooden altar pulpit wall with side passageways and the wooden baptismal font were created around 1777, the pries, which were removed in 1970, and the galleries around 1755. In the church there is a tombstone for Eva Catharina von Rössing, who belonged to the noble family Rössing an estate. The church already had an organ in the 18th century, the current organ from 1875 comes from the organ building company Philipp Furtwängler & Sons.
