Here you will find the remains of an old cable car, which took ore from the top of Cwm Bychan to a processing plant near Nantmor over a distance of about 1.4 km. Many parts of the cable car still remain and it is possible to "reconstruct" the machine in detail based on this. There is a terminal station at the top. These are the remains of the cable car built in 1927 to carry copper ore down from the top of Cwm Bychan.
