The Battle of Göllheim, more rarely also the Battle of Hasenbühl, took place on July 2, 1298 on the Hasenbühl, a hill in the district of the North Palatinate municipality of Göllheim (in today's federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate), between the troops of the Habsburg Duke Albrecht of Austria and the Roman-German King Adolf of Nassau. The cause of the armed conflict had been Adolf's deposition by the electors and Albrecht's proclamation as anti-king. Adolf lost his life in the battle.
