The Museo Villa dei Cedri is housed in a suburban villa-type building that was rebuilt in the Palladian style around 1920. The original neoclassical building dates back to 1860. The permanent collection of the museum, which opened in 1985, focuses on the art of Ticino, Lombardy and Switzerland from the second half of the 19th century to the present day.
