The Sendenhof is located at the northern city gate of Horstmar and was formerly part of the general defense of the city. The two-winged complex with two floors includes parts of the building from the 13th to the 19th century. The north wing is used as a residential wing and visibly bears the year 1756. The archway of the threshing floor entrance in the west wing bears the year 1763. Both wings were widened in the 19th century.
