The Slavery Monument is a monument in memory of the Dutch slavery past and is situated in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. The monument was designed by Alex da Silva and is located on the Lloydkade in the Lloydkwartier district in the Delfshaven district.

In the 17th to 19th centuries, weapons, pottery and spirits were traded in the Lloydkwartier. These goods were shipped to Africa, where they were exchanged for slaves. Subsequently, these Rotterdam ships brought them to Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles, where they were exchanged for goods such as coffee and sugar that were shipped to Rotterdam. The firm Coopstad and Rochussen played a role in this Trans-Atlantic slave trade and were the largest trading company in the Netherlands after the Middelburgsche Commercie Compagnie.
