This cemetery contains 227 anonymous, white crosses. Most of them only have a number. There is a name on a few crosses. In the period 1873-2000, more than 6000 people were given a final resting place at the three cemeteries. Quite an endearing place.

People are not numbers - and yet you see numbers instead of names on the white crosses. Because the "vagrants" were an excluded minority and for society at that time just a number - and that's how they were buried.
