The impressive new Baumschulenweg crematorium, built in 1999, with the appearance that reminds me of an industrial plant, even received the “Concrete” architecture prize in the same year. Many interesting facts, including pictures and videos (including one entitled “The work of the crematorium”) can be found at krematorium-berlin.de/index.php.
