Baiersbronner Sträßle – Sankenbachstraße Stone Markers

Pretty much the most direct connection from Baiersbronn to Kniebis. For years the route was one of my favorite routes with the racing bike, but in the meantime the asphalt has been removed for about 2 km and the road "unsealed".
With a gravel bike or any other bike with not too thin tires it is still a very nice route, varied and with occasional views of the Sankenbacher See.

Wonderful easy way to get from the Murgtal to the Kniebis/main ridge. With the MTB/Gravel-Bike the alternative is over the lake and then right up in the direction of Buchschollenhütte, perhaps a bit more beautiful/lonely. But the route here: Contrary to Albrecht's opinion, I think that you can also ride a racing bike up here (as of 03.2023), but you should be careful going downhill with your carbon rims :)
