Here is a double atonement cross incorporated in railing, which was carved from a single stone and connected to the crossbar. These tell the following story:
A pair of scissors and a cross tell the story of an atonement and a deadly dispute. Here a tailor should have stabbed a baker or vice versa. In a modification of the above legend, a tailor and a baker, both from Kallmünz, are said to have fought a duel on the Naabbrücke, which ended fatally for both.

Kallmünz is nestled in the confluence between the Vils and Naab rivers. The Stone Bridge over the Naab is a particularly beautiful spot to enjoy a magnificent view of the river. Colorful houses with terraces and steps are beautifully reflected in the river. This town is a truly memorable experience. It's worth visiting as a destination for a tour or as a short detour from the main route.

Kallmünz is a market in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg in Bavaria and the seat of the administrative community of Kallmünz. The ruins of the old Kallmünz Castle are on a rocky outcrop of the “Schlossberg”. The castle is a striking landmark in the Naab Valley.
