Hiking

Where steam power once connected the mines in the Emscher-Lippe area with freight trains weighing tons, the "Allee des Wandels" now creates a connection for people who want to experience structural change by bicycle, e-bike or on foot - or simply in a climate-friendly way, Drive safely and quickly to school, to work or to go shopping.

Hiking

Unfortunately no longer there. There was no money for the maintenance of the bridge. Just a shame. It was a first class industrial monument

Hiking

The old bridge is history; it was demolished in 2023. It's nice that there are at least a few photos left thanks to this highlight.
