At the "Alte Jeetzel" there's not only a bench for a break, but also a shelter. This is perfectly suitable for bikepackers and cycle tourists, but also as a short-term shelter when it starts to rain.

Cycling

A nice place for a break during a bike tour or a canoe tour on the Alte Jeetzel. There is a wooden hut (or a wooden tipi), some benches (inside and outside the hut) and a dock for canoes, kayaks, rubber dinghies, etc. (you have to move by boat here anyway, because the Alte Jeetzel is here runs underground under the Neue Jeetzel (canal).
