At the end of 2022, a marker post was erected at Jägerfleck in Herzberg. With the support of horticultural specialist Thomas Ilgner, a special post with a carved owl could be installed there. Now the initiators as well as the members of the Harzklub local association Herzberg hope that in the future many hikers will like these specially designed tree trunks in the Harz forests.
