The scene of an unsolved crime.

Not far from this point, on July 8, 1916, the body of the Ober-Rosbach hunting supervisor Johannes (Jean) Bullmann VII (born October 11, 1867) was discovered.
He was found in a pool of blood, with a bullet hole in his head, above today's Wasserdäll, on the ladder to a high seat.
Immediately after the body was found, the newspapers reported an accident.
However, there were contradicting reports about the course of the accident. That left room for speculation.
Has the game warden been the victim of a crime? Was he shot by a poacher?
The case was never resolved.

Years later, however, a citizen of Ober-Rosbach is said to have confessed to Bullmann's murder on his death bed.

In memory of Bullmann and his tragic death, his family erected the »Marienbild« shrine with a quartzite stone at this point.
Since then, this place has not only been known to the people of Rosbach as "Em Schaa seu Köppsche" (Jean (Johannes) his little head).
