Hiking

The oldest mention of the Schwarzmühle dates back to 1320. In 1878 the brewery owner Anton Dreher bought the property and renamed it Antonshof in 1896 in honor of his son. The facilities of the Antonshof continue to serve the agricultural business and accommodate the Wünschek-Dreherische-Gutsverwaltung.

On the "situation map" of Ritter von Gerstner, the owner of the Schwarzmühle at the time, from 1838, the works sewer for the weaving mill built in 1833 in the Schwarzmühle is already drawn. This canal, newly dug in 1833, which branched off before the curve of the Schwechat to the Rothmühle and flows in a straight line to the confluence with the Liesing, is the current riverbed of the Schwechat after the excavation of the old Schwechat around 1972.
