After the completion of the new alpine dairy in spring
In 2013, after 50 years, mountain cheese and mountain butter are produced again on the Alpe Bärenschwand.
There are 20 cows grazing on the mountain meadows, whose milk is processed daily into mountain cheese.
Also included are 2 goats, 6 alpine pigs and chickens. From May 12 - beginning of October open daily - no rest days.
