Information:
The artificial canal leading from the Black Ponds (Schwarze Teiche) ran here. The Black Ponds were sold by the Wegefarth manor in 1739. From here, the canal route ran below the Feldbusch, crossed the Freiberg-Hainichen road, and supplied the waterworks of the Verträgliche Gesellschaft (Compatible Society) with the necessary water.
