The old tunnel complex on Rosenberg was reopened in 1831, as indicated by the dates stamped inside the tunnel. Mining investigation work was carried out here until 1837 without satisfactory results. It was mistakenly assumed that it was the Wooden St. Peter, which was actually located further north on the Krötenbach. Later, the unofficial name Julianer Stolln became commonplace for the tunnel.
