The royal forester's lodge Dianenslust is located above Mainberg in the forest. The Jagdhaus Dianenslust was built in 1824 as an outstation for the riding foresters of the 19th century. While the horses were housed in the stables on the ground floor, the upper floor provided living and sleeping space for the foresters.
