The Fürth-Seckendorf gliding site is located in the municipality of Seukendorf in the district of Fürth in Bavaria, about 9 kilometers west of Fürth.

The gliding site is equipped with a 630 m long and 30 m wide grass runway (direction 09/27).[1] It has an operating license for gliders, motor gliders, ultralight aircraft and motor aircraft up to 2000 kg maximum permissible take-off weight with tow coupling.[1] Motor aircraft are only permitted after consultation with the placeholder and only for the purpose of towing gliders.[1] Take-offs and landings of ultralight aircraft of non-local pilots are only permitted with prior approval from the placeholder (PPR).[1] Gliders are only launched by aircraft tow.[1] The owner and operator of the gliding site is the Aero-Club Fürth e. V.[2] The club was founded on September 9, 1950.[3] The gliding site was put into operation in 1962
