  • On the domain you will find a Lourdes grotto built around 1892, which is immediately one of the oldest Lourdes grottoes in the Netherlands.Behind it is a freestanding prayer chapel with a rectangular floor plan, in one storey and with a saddle roof with slates in Maasdekking. The building material used is brick and marl. Round-arched wooden door. Round-arched stained glass windows. Front facade ending in a gable with a round-arched niche and crowned with a cross. The fourteen freestanding Stations of the Cross are made in the form of hexagonal chapels, built in marl and provided with a wrought iron fence, this dates from 1947 and replaced wooden doors. At the bottom of the battlements are arched friezes. A few narrow rectangular windows. At the top of the rectangular entrance is a decorative ornament in the shape of a cross. • The Kruiswegtuin Cadier en Keer, located in Cadier en Keer in the Dutch municipality of Eijsden-Margraten, was created in 1892 on the slopes of the Keerderberg west of Maastricht. It concerns an oval-shaped garden, laid out as a park, with fourteen Stations of the Cross, a Lourdes grotto and a chapel.
Stations of the Cross are arranged along the footpaths of the small park, which is bordered on the north by a stone wall, lawns and lots of trees. The stations are made of sandstone, have a hexagonal base and a flat top with battlements. The original wooden doors of the fourteen chapels have been replaced by cast iron gates. Each chapel is decorated with a relief depicting one of the fourteen scenes of the Passion.
The park is owned by the Dutch Province of the Society for African Missions, which is also responsible for its maintenance.Source: wikipedia.
