In the Warandeduinen you will be in for a real surprise. A stone's throw from the church of Wetteren you can romp in the dune sand. You will find a unique spectacle of shifting dunes whose wind blows the sand up. There are dunes up to 17.5 meters high!
The 'Along roses, dunes and stoves' walking path leads you through the Warandeduinen and the adjacent Provincial domain Den Blaken. Here you will find a garden for the senses and a promotion garden for the regional floriculture of roses, ornamental shrubs and park trees.
