Tönning is the headquarters of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park Office. The National Park Service, which is legally independent but closely integrated with the National Park Administration, is also located there. The Multimar Wattforum is located directly on the Eider Bridge. In this interactive exhibition, you'll learn impressive and exciting stories about the habitats between the salt marshes, mudflats, and the North Sea – vividly, understandably, and entertainingly.

Hiking

The Wattforum is an absolute MUST-SEE, exciting not only for children but also for adults.
The animals and habitats around the mudflats are presented and experienced in an exciting and engaging way – truly fantastic!
It quickly became too hectic for us, but thanks to the various floors, smaller rooms, outdoor area, and quiet zones, we were able to enjoy it for a good four hours.
