The church was designed for 300 seats on the ground floor and on the two-story galleries. Despite the careful inclusion of classicist design elements, the church still stands in the tradition of baroque Protestant church building with Saxon characteristics.Saxony's Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer and Annett Hofmann got married here in 2020.
