Best Hikes to Reconstructed Gate G of the Heidengraben Oppidum

Tips

  • In the area south of here there was a Celtic settlement in the 1st century BC. Although that was over 2,000 years ago, a rampart near Elsachstadt and a field of burial mounds near Burrenhof can still be seen. There was once a gate at this point, which has been reconstructed for today's visitors.
