Built in 1936 - 1937, today's gymnasium was a state youth home of the NSDAP and served to prepare the children and adolescents for service in the party and war. This house was the most elaborate home of the Hitler Youth in Trier. The house was deliberately built, as well as other Nazi buildings, with native materials (sandstone, slate) to look down-to-earth, robust and native.
