In the summer months, fans of the Middle Ages can experience the Middle Ages live in the craftsmen's village during the Kirkel Castle Summer on the castle complex from the 11th century, the landmark of Kirkel. Further sights and a good infrastructure for long and short-term recreation, excellent gastronomy for every taste and a lot of entertainment at many festivals offer both the state-recognized resort of Kirkel-Neuhäusel and the two other districts of Old Town and Limbach.
