The sun shines not on us but in us. The rivers flow not past, but through us. Thrilling, tingling, vibrating every fiber and cell of the substance of our bodies, making them glide and sing. The trees wave and the flowers bloom in our bodies as well as our souls, and every bird song, wind song, and tremendous storm song of the rocks in the heart of the mountains is our song, our very own, and sings our love.
John Muir
Wenn man so ganz alleine im Wald steht, begreift man nur sehr schwer, wozu man in Büros und Kinos geht. Und plötzlich will man alles das nicht mehr.
Erich Kästner

A really nice hike always along the water. The first bathing spots for swimming can already be found at Lehnitzsee. 😀
The path leads past the former grounds of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Very informative and also very depressing. You walk over disused railway tracks through a wooded area to Grabowsee. A calm, clear lake and finally time to swim. The Grabowsee Bridge leads over the Oder-Havel Canal to a small restaurant where you can enjoy delicious cakes with a view of the Havel. Along the canal it goes back to the lock and on the other side of the Lehnitzsee back to the S-Bahn station, where you can end the day with the Greeks.

Sleepy ... I rush to the station only to find out that the stupid train is canceled. The next one comes an hour later and is full to the limit. Annoyed cyclists bark at each other, the young sit, the old stand 👿. IN MY TIME ... A woman my age offers me to take turns using her seat. At the next stop, a very old lady gets on and we offer her the seat, while the boys are still loitering in their seats, unmoved. I'm so sick of this generation of spoiled princes and princesses ... It doesn't matter ...
Finally I can get out and as soon as I touch the ground, I realize the right decision, peace and forest ...
I'm pretty sure that some prankster changed the contents of my mosquito repellent. As soon as I set foot in the forest, a dark cloud of the little beasts hangs over me. So today too. Shaking around, I walk through the forest, past lakes, over an old paved path to the Ragöser Mühle. It's getting hotter and hotter and I dream of an iced coffee. But what do my tired eyes see "Today only for hotel guests and reservations" 😪😪😪
There is a swimming area at the Great Holy Lake and I can't resist the temptation and swim out into the lake. Such a boon🐬🐋🐳 After the ☀️me has dried, I walk the last stretch to the Chorin monastery in a relaxed manner. There is a concert there today and for a while I listen to the music as an onlooker until I walk past the Amtssee and walk the last piece to the train station.

Tram 88 takes you from Friedrichshagen to Rüdersdorf near Berlin. Once there, you walk along the road under the motorway and stroll comfortably along the lake past several bathing spots. The water is crystal clear.
At the dried up love fountain (the mercilessly optimistic lovers still hang their locks.) While I ponder why love needs a lock, wouldn't freedom be much nicer? I drag myself up the mountain to the tower on the Kranichsberg. I deliberately ignore the little piece of caution tape that some comedian put on after struggling up the first flight of stairs. The tower with the much-vaunted view was closed, but there was a small concert that I listened to for a while as a "black listener". I like classical music, but when a soprano like that sounds out in the middle of the forest, the roots of one or the other tree will probably roll up ... Woltersdorf was well attended, so I immediately fled and along the lakeshore to Erkner walked
On the last piece there are some panels with poems and descriptions of trees. I photographed the most beautiful ones straight away.
