The legendary Goûter refuge and the most guarded refuge in France. It is also the last stop on the ascent of Mont Blanc.
During the guarding period, it has 120 beds (reduced to 19 in winter). It also offers a catering service and you will have the possibility to buy a sleeping bag sheet (mandatory for hygiene reasons). It is absolutely essential to book your night. To do this, go to the website montblanc.ffcam.fr/FR_refuge-home-1.html

A truly unique mountain hut, although the word 'hut' is the wrong word for this state of the art building, you'll find it on the climb up Mont Blanc. The shimmering steel facade of the Refuge du Goûter almost blends into the snow-capped slopes all around. As early as 1854, the first small refuge was built here. After several conversions and new buildings, the current refuge was completed in 2013.
