There are still many sandstone boundary stones on the old border path between Baden and Württemberg.

Along the high circular route there are several boundary stones that marked the old border between Baden and Württemberg. Each boundary stone has two inscriptions, one for Baden and the reverse for Württemberg.

The path leads through a fairy-tale forest along the former border between Baden and Württemberg, and again and again you come across boundary stones with the Baden coat of arms on one side and that of Württemberg on the other.
