Hiking Highlight
Surrounded by Pointe Percée, Aiguilles du Goûter and Bionnassay, this refuge is near the last station of the Mont Blanc tramway. Appreciated by climbers en route to the ascent of Mont Blanc, it is perched on the rocks and built in an arc, with a magnificent terrace. The team welcomes you for a hot chocolate or even a fondue!

The refuge opened in 2006 after the old building fell victim to a fire in 2003.
The hut, located at an altitude of 2372 m, is currently the starting point of the normal route to Mont Blanc. It is cultivated from mid-June to the end of September. From the hut there is a beautiful view of the summit of the Pointe Percée, the highest point in the Aravis mountain range. The Refuge du Nid d’Aigle is at the foot of the Aiguille de Bionnassay (4052 m) and the Aiguille du Goûter (3863 m).
