Tips
The Pic du Midi d'Ossau peaks at 2,884 meters above sea level. It is one of the witnesses of an ancient volcano formed 278 million years ago: the Ossau volcano.
Its ascent is possible, but make sure you are properly equipped. Shoes, helmets are essential. The walls of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau are strewn with scree whose scree is just waiting to continue its fall. So be careful.
If you undertake to climb it, you will be rewarded with a spectacular 360° view of the Ossau valley and the surrounding mountain ranges.translated by
