Here, Monday June 28, 1813, Napoleon was on the Buschberg and took a look at the Schönfeld highlands. The emperor was on scouting rides.
As a reminder of these historical events almost 200 years ago, Claus Glombik from Dresden donated the memorial stone to the village of Weißig. This should not only bear witness to the presence of Napoleon, but also remember and commemorate the terrible acts of war and the many dead on both sides.
