"... From Grenzau to Bendorf-Sayn the Brexbach meanders through the valley created by it. It covers a total distance of 18 km on the linear route of 6.5 km. the Eisenbach and the Nauorter raft. The Brexbach itself arises from the union of Hinterstem Bach and Vorderstem Bach in the Grenzhauser Stadtwald east of Höhr-Grenzhausen.

From the headwaters in the Ransbacher Mulde to the mouth in the Schlosspark Sayn, the Brexbach passes steep and densely wooded slopes. Along the disused railway line and the stream bed. A great path. It is especially recommended for a hot summer day as it is pleasantly cool here.
