The Brexbach valley winds its way through the woods, repeatedly spanned by viaducts on the same railway line. Used as a scouts' tent camp, there are a total of 27 tent sites, which blend in with nature in a picturesque and unobtrusive manner. There are new impressions behind every bend in the stream. Sometimes the valley is extensive, sometimes small and round like an amphitheater built by nature, sometimes wooded. And always accompanied by the friendly gurgling and rippling of the stream. A dream!

If you follow the disused railway line in the Brextal, you can marvel at some bridges and tunnels and enjoy the peace and quiet together with many wild animals.
The path winds through the meadows on the Brexbach and offers beautiful observations again and again.

Be careful with the tip to hike on the railway line. We used to like that too, but the track will be reactivated. Often, test drives or repair vehicles are on the way. Please do not walk along the tracks. It becomes really idyllic only after the Boy Scout camps, because until there is sometimes busy traffic. This section can also be on both sides at different heights go on trails that are connected by serpentine paths.
