Above the Stations of the Cross and the Crucifixion group stands the Catholic mountain and pilgrimage chapel of St. Mary on the Stone, dating from around 1735. It commemorates the plague 100 years earlier in 1635. After a wayside shrine was erected here in 1639, a special sacred place developed here.

On the way to the summit, you will be guided through the individual Stations of the Cross. At the end of the Stations of the Cross is the stone chapel, built in commemoration of the plague in 1736. Particularly worth seeing on Calvary Hill is the lovingly designed Grotto of the Virgin Mary.
