The Protestant St. George's Church is a late Gothic hall church dating back to the 17th century. The present St. George's Church was built during the Thirty Years' War in 1626 by the Duke of Württemberg's master builder, Friedrich Vischlin, according to the transverse church design, with the pews oriented toward the pulpit on the north wall. The church tower stands on the remains of a previous building, which is not precisely dated (11th to 15th centuries), but may have belonged to a pilgrimage church.
