The Bresahn estate has been in the family for around 350 years. Today the farm in the municipality of Salem-Dargow am Schaalsee is run by Heike Schmedes and her husband Jan Schmedes.
The Schmedes mainly grow grain on over 450 hectares of cultivated land. In addition to barley, rapeseed and rye, the main focus is on the cultivation of wheat.
