Hiking

Way cross / shaft cross, basalt. Johann Anton ANNEN & us his wife Anna Maria SCHEID erected the cross in 1762 when his only brother Nicolaus died. Nicolaus' wife (Barbara Anna SCHEID, the sister of Anna Maria) died in 1761 and so did her eldest daughter Margarethe in 1762. The fact that the brothers and sisters were very close also testifies that they married on consecutive days in 1745.
