Shortly before it flows into the Havel, the Oberhavelsteg leads over the Teufelsseekanal. The bridle strap bridge, completed in 1991, is around 125 meters long and is suspended from two H-pylons. The steel structure is barrier-free and has spacious ramps.

The foot and cycle path bridge is part of the Berlin – Copenhagen long-distance cycle path, which in turn is part of the Havel cycle path, as well as part of the Königin-Luisen-Route and the Havelseenweg, hiking path 12 of the 20 green main paths® in Berlin.
