One of my favourite roads - for all the reasons YK says above, but also because there are nice wide views at times - something which can be hard to come by on our high-banked hedge-rowed lanes.

A lovely little back route between Wivelsfield and Haywards Heath. It's a narrow windy lane passing though the countryside of Mid-Sussex, which doesn't see a lot of traffic other than the occasional tractor. The road is mainly downhill from the A272 end although there are few lumps on the way. Conversely, it's mainly uphill from Wivelsfield Green with a few descents to catch your breath on.
