Standard orchard in Het Burreken

In 2008, Natuurpunt created a completely new standard orchard near the Perreveld. It consists of various old fruit varieties and varieties – mainly of apples and pears, but also of walnut, medlar and plum. A berry-rich forest edge was also created along the underlying grove.

All fruit trees are provided with an information sign that, in addition to the name, provides brief information about the flowering and harvesting period, taste, use and storage time.
