The megalith and the surrounding boulder stone circle is embedded in shady forest. The Raven stone grave is in very good condition and tells a story of giants. It was assumed that in the past only giants could lay the stones for graves. Hence the name "giant grave". The burial lid is still on the burial chamber today.
Records state that archaeologists excavated the dolmen in the early 20th century. A capstone lies on the well-preserved burial chamber. Some boulders lie in a circle around the grave.
