The very steep approach to the 67m high observation tower on the Paaschberg is worthwhile because you are rewarded with fantastic views in all directions. And whoever climbed the mountain first of course also climbs the tower. You can take a breather upstairs and go down like a rocket anyway

From the observation tower on the Paaschberg in Salzhausen you have a wonderful view of the landscape. Here on the edge of the so-called Geest you can let your gaze wander into the Luhetal, which merges further north into the Winsener Marsch. You can also discover the old church in Salzhausen - and perhaps pay a little visit to it after climbing the tower.
